  1. What Is North Texas Giving Day

Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving  event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.

The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. In 2019, $50 million was raised through 102,000 donors benefiting 3,000 local nonprofits, bringing the eleven-year total to over $290 million for our community. North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation.

  1. Why is it important to NBMBAA DFW

Through your generosity, our work is making a difference in the lives of Dallas Fort Worth students, professionals, small business owners, and the community-at-large.

Your donations will:

  • Allow us to put on great programs that will empower professionals in their careers and businesses
  • Provide our Leaders of Tomorrow high-school students with resources, knowledge, and opportunities such as mentoring relationships, scholarships, and internships.
  • Help us support minority-owned businesses as they strive to bring change into the market.
  1. How Does It Work?

During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community. On September 17th, from 6am-midnight, you can donate by visiting https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/dfwmbas

Not available on September 17th? You can still pledge your donation early between September 1st-16th to make your gift count.

For a donation of $25 of more, you are entered to win a variety of prizes. Also, all gifts made to the NBMBAA-DFW Chapter are tax deductible through the Communities Foundation of Texas.

Optional:
Spread the word to your friends and loved ones about the NBMBAA- DFW Chapter. Don’t forget to tag @dfwmbas and #NTxGiving Day if you post online.
